The People’s Republic of China hereby notifies that the National Standard GB 21518-2008" Minimum Allowable Values of Energy Efficiency and Energy Efficiency Grades for AC Contactors ", has been promulgated by Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China, and will enter into force as of 1 November 2008. The draft of which was notified as G/TBT/N/CHN/329/Rev.1 on 15 February 2008. The scopes, terms, table 1 and article 5.1 of the notified text have been slightly modified.

This Jordanian Instruction applies to toys, defined as "any product or material designed or clearly intended for use in play by children of less than 14 years of age". The instructions lays down the safety criteria or "essential requirements" which toys must meet to be placed on the market.  The safety criteria cover general risks (protection against health hazards or physical injury) and particular risks (physical and mechanical, flammability, chemical properties, electrical properties, hygiene and radioactivity).     The degree of risk has to take into account the ability of the user (children). If applicable, the toy must contain a labelling that specifies a minimum age.

As for K 60065 [Audio, video and similar electronic apparatus], clause 5.1 h) will be amended as follows:
- Rated power consumption of apparatus which can be supplied by supply apparatus for general use shall be indicated. 
The measured consumption at rated supply voltage shall not exceed the marked value by more than 10 %.                                                         
The following contents will be added to clause 5.1 j):
 Rated power consumption for apparatus intended for connection to an a.c. MAINS supply shall be indicated. However, for d.c supply apparatus, Rated current consumption or Rated power consumption may be indicated.                                                   
The measured consumption at rated supply voltage shall not exceed the marked value by more than 10 %.                                                                  
As for K 60065 (Edition 7) [Audio, video and similar electronic apparatus], clause 5.1 g) will be amended as follows:

The clause 5.1 i) will be amended as follows:
- Rated power consumption for apparatus intended for connection to an a.c. MAINS supply shall be indicated. However, for d.c supply apparatus, Rated current consumption or Rated power consumption may be indicated.

The Ministry of Knowledge Economy made partial amendment of Regulations relating to Commerce and  Foreign Trade to harmonize principles of country of origin marking of imported goods with international norms in pursuit of facilitating free trade.  The following 7 and 8 provisions are added to Article 75.2: Country of origin marking of imported goods shall be marked on each goods in accordance with Article 75.1. However Article 75.2 prescribes exceptions of country of origin marking in the minimum packaging unit or the vessel. 7. In the case of that there is little possibility of misunderstanding of country of origin of imported goods thanks to their appearance. (i.e. vegetables or fruits such as durians, oranges and bananas)     
8. The goods that the Commissioner of the Customs authorizes with consultation of the Minister of Knowledge Economy.
